Purchased an engraved, custom yawara. Katalox wood, 1 inch diameter, and 17 inches in lenght-wanted to make a Tan-bo. It was delivered today. Awesome and beautiful. Absolutely made my day!
I have made prior purchases of bokken, and an an actual yawara sized yawara, for myself and as gifts. The craftsmanship is superb. March 2024 marks 49 years of my teaching an training in the martial arts. Back when we were young (and poor) our wooden weapons were furnished from, dowel rods and even coffin handles(our jo staffs). It is to my pleasure and delight to now own such beautiful weapons that I have received from Blizniak’ Bokken. I highly recommend them.
