This is a 40″ solid wood Ipe Bokken. It weighs 1.73 lbs and does have cuts on the mune giving it a 12 inch handle. The bokken is straight with no warps. This bokken has some small hairline cracks on it. The cracks are not noticeable unless you are looking for them. I would not recommend using this bokken for heavy combat training do to the tiny cracks.
