This is a 60.75″ solid Ipe jo staff. It weighs 2.86 lbs and is straight as an arrow. I can cut it shorter if needed.

I’d like to have a Ipe wood Jo that is 128 cm…just wanting to try one that is considered the “traditional” length. My current Jo is 50″. I would like to know what the cost is to cut it down to that size…also…I have read that Ipe wood will not float because of its density.

I can cut the staff down to whatever length you like, for no extra charge. You can mail it back to me and I can cut it and send it back. Ipe does in fact sink in water.
